Linda Miklowitz accepted the invitation to run as lieutenant governor
on Bob Kunst's ticket because she admires his work.

"I got to see a lot of Bob in action since January, 2001, when he stopped in Tallahassee en route to protest the inauguration in Washington with a busload of activists. I knew his name, but didn't know him personally. I was impressed with his calm, soft-spoken--but powerful--way of articulating his principles to the media. I admire Bob's intelligence, integrity and passion for democracy. I share his quest for human rights and social justice," said Miklowitz. "If I can help him, I am happy to do so, as a voter first and even as a running mate."

Linda Miklowitz branches both North and South Florida. She has been a Tallahassee attorney since 1981 and a Gainesville resident from 1971, where she was newspaper reporter and a radio announcer and producer.
